I came here so I could let Candy Apple burn off a bit of energy before her next training lesson.
I've brought a lunge rein with me so i can lunge her as well.
Later I'll let her have a gallop in the meadow, soon she won't be as energized.
I start by giving her a canter round the river.
Then I try taking her into the water one step at a time.
Eventuly, she is in the shallow water having a drink.

Then I slow her to a walk, and give her a rest under a tree.
Then I walk her to the edge of the river.
Then I halt her so she can get used to the presence of the river.
Then I walk her into the water.
She didn't like the water and backed out.
I give up and lunge her instead.
By the time we have finished, she is a bit worn out, so she is ready for her lesson.
I'll let have have a quick gallop on the Meadow, and then I'll take her down there!!
