The site where the two houses are being moved to... I first thought that area had not been developed until about 1910... well checking today on a 1903 plat map, there was a grade school a few doors down from the site I need to finish hunting.

Had a good hit in the big beautiful walnut tree that grew there, and since it was in the root area, I left it be... my friend who owns the property had plans to keep that tree, then the land was staked out for the houses going on it, and the tree was in the way, so the tree has been cut down... sadly, today the crew who is to dig for the basements learned that the measurements are 6 feet off! The tree could have been saved! Good thing is I talked to the work crew who told me they would help me locate the item which is giving such a good hit on the detector :o)

There is a old foundation on this property, had a basement, and that will be dug up starting in the morning.. I, will be there to see what comes up :o)

When it cools down a little more, the detector and I will be off to the new site to see what we can uncover ;o)
