Subject: Bullseye pinpointer question

I was just lurking on the "BIG Whites "forum and they were talking about the Bullseye pinpointer being able to reach a coin at 2 inches. Have any of you dogs, cat lovers, and jarheads ever used one? And if you have, will it really perform at 2"? If this is the case, I sure am going to look at getting one.
I am positively not doubting the claims of the gents there, just wanting a different opinion.
