I can not believe all the falsehoods abounding this forum about Texas Cow Dogs! Underdog, you sound soft, probably could not chase a mouse a hundred feet without getting winded, but laying around all the time on a leather chair, drinking beer is typical of a Okie dog! Heard rumor that in the next Texas Legislature session, they may pass a law that will ban Okie dogs from being imported into Texas. Falk, what in the world are those dogs that you have owned doing, can not tell the difference between a cow chip and a bird. Everyone knows that a bird looks like a cow chip, but the key is they have feathers! Your statement, "If you even think about having a little quick romance with my leg like some of your kind do, my 12 guage is still handy." What type of pervert dog would use the shotgun instead of your leg? Charlie, you do make sense.... I live in East Texas, and have heard about a cat in South Texas named Jarhead Cat. He is one "mean" cat! Dogs in South Texas avoids the ranch he lives on, one mean cat..... Kelly, please do not compare the Texas Cow Dog to a baseball player. You will never see us picking our nose! I do think I know where the term "Cow Poke" came from, and you are probably correct. Was the Okie dogs also involved? I think I will forget about looking for employement somewhere else, after reading everything you all have said. Sounds like I have a good job after all, think I better get some sleep, got to round up some cows tomorrow! Charlie, let me know more about that "Jarhead" cat, one mean South Texas Cat! "TURK"
