Subject: Delight's Mr. Ebony gets mad.

Mister is a little lazy today. And he stepped on my finger while I was putting his bell boots on. When we mount up he tries to walk as slow as he can, but I ask for a trot. When we enter the arena Carrie, my Arab broodmare, and her new black filly are already in there. (One of the grooms forgot to put them up). Before Mister and I can get out without disturbing them, Carrie and the filly come to see what's going on. When the baby nibbles on Mister's foreleg, he rears up, barely missing the foal when he lands. Carrie gets protective and nips at his rump. He kicks out with a hind leg. Making sure the mare and foal are out of the way, I carefully back him, then take him out of the arena. We ride in the dressage arena instead.
