He hobbles back into his hut, returning with a big of miscellaneous items. Approaching the filly, he drops to what pass for knees, examining the wing with practiced fingers. "Ye might want ta' hold yer filly down fer a minnit," the hermit continues, looking to the bearer, "this might hurt the bain a wee bit. I'm to set her wing." He grasps the wing with suprisingly strong hands for his twisted frame, pulling the break back into place. He lashes a piece of wood to the wing, tying it carefully in a rough splint. Wings were hard to splint, because of all the feathers.
