Subject: Missing Stacey after 5 years

Had trouble with Stacey's 28th birthday and the 5 year anniversary, too. I recently thought about three good times from the past. First, the times spent trying to study in the S&E library with Stacey and Alycia, but Stacey and I kept whispering and drawing goofy pictures instead of being productive. I also remember several of us crowding onto the bunk beds in her room in the sorority house and watching movies on a tiny TV and then probably sneaking out onto the porch roof at some point in time just because we weren't supposed to do it. Finally, there was the nerve-wracking but great time that we had watching the 1997 Rose Bowl and picking up tons of pizza at half time to bring back to a gathering at a friend's house. No one wanted to go get the pizzas, but Stacey happily agreed to do it with me. We joked that we would throw the TV out the window if OSU lost, but thankfully, that didn't happen. It was one of many great days spent with her.

I had a good dream about Stacey recently, though, talking to her just like she was here with me now... I'll always miss her, love her, and hurt over the life that she might have had. I also truly keep up hope that we'll find some answers eventually.
