Sentence me to walk the
Grim path, for the path
Without love be that of Death.
Let me not smile upon day,
For day frowns at my heart.
I wander the aimless night,
In search of thee to bring forth.
Shed the blood if I must,
Of tyrants aloft,
To make clean, she which
Is wrongly persecuted.

Blackened souls that wish,
Only her harm, shall indeed
By my hand pay.
For love knows trust
And truth, which will
Be lighted in the eyes of God.
Let me never know life,
Until made complete by her arms.

Let me never wear the crown,
Which rests in wait for my return,
Until I wear the crown fitted
With your smile.
I will whisk thee away,
And protect the just of
She whom the doves praise,
For her beauty.

Let me never sleep,
Until the wrong has
Been made right,
And she is whole again.
