In reply to: steve 's message, "This is the same thing Carnie Wilson had right? It sure changed her. Is yours going to be permanent, or will they undo it after a certain level is reached? Or is this where they actually remove a portion of the stomach? Of course, you will have to send us before and after pics of you completely stripped down (just trying to get the board back to standards)" on 16:06:42 04/18/01 Wed

Mine is like the one Carnie had, and suprisingly the same clinic is doing mine. But yes it will be perm. After about a year to two years I will stop loosing weight and that is where I will be with food consumption all the rest of my life. The procedure I am having to me doesnt seem as dangerous as the others, they just create a smaller pouch in my stomach and a small hole for the food to exit into the rest of my digestive system. The end result is, I stay fuller longer and it still uses my full digestive system, and I am told the only vitamin I will need is like a childrens chewable for the rest of my life. I am pretty sure by now the Drs, office has sent off to insurance, and to me this is the hardest part, so please keep me in your prayers they accept soon. I have been told if all goes well with insurance, I could be in for surgery as early as late june or early july. Well hope to see yall again soon :) Thanks
