Subject: Hellllllllloooooo......anybody out here?

Just checking in to say hi. I lost the link to the room so I wasn't able to check in for a while - but Mary gave it to me (thanks Mary!). Glad to hear everyone's doing well. Shawn - congratulations on the surgery - what a brave lady you are! I would definitely consider doing the same thing IF (and notice the big "if") insurance would pay for it - but I don't think mine would. Anyway - I'm glad the surgery went well and wish you the best of luck with the next phase! LA - congratulations on the engagement - I'm glad you finally dumped Brad and have found a great guy :) Good luck on the upcoming wedding. Bay - I'm glad to hear things are going well for you in Granbury and that married life is treating you and Wayne well. Tell him hello for me and you two continue to take care of each other. Kim??? A new job??? You go girl! I want details please. I know the other job was stressful but rewarding, but I'm anxious to know what you're up to now. I hope you're still enjoying your "newlywed" status too! Steve - how are things at home and work? I'm sure the kids are keeping you busy and are just as anxious for summer as mine are - they are literally counting the days (and probably the hours and minutes as well)! Mary - I already spoke to you, but hello anyway!

Things for me are going okay. I'm still on my own, and have adjusted fairly well. I've decided though that God definitely has a sense of humor - the latest drama in my life is that I'm now unemployed. My job was officially eliminated last week, so I get the fun task of finding another one. I'm sure I'll find something, but the idea of interviewing again is painful to me! My self confidence has always been an area that I've been lacking in, so I'm asking my friends to please keep me in their prayers and pray that I'll be able to convince myself (so that I can convince someone else) that I'm worth hiring! I'm really doing ok though and I see this as God closing a door so he can open a window, and perhaps again urging me out of my pattern of never allowing change in my life.

Since I'm home now I'll try to check in more often. I hope you're all doing well (including any who read but don't post here). I love you all, and keep you in my thoughts.
