I have been searching the Annis family name for several years although I live in Australia I was born in N. London and my father, his father, grandfather and great grand father were born in the East End, that much I know, Interestingly Robert was one of the more common family christian names, so if there is a touch of the east-enders in your family I may have some information of interest.
