Sorry I can't help you. But I also have a fur jacket with a tag that says Annis furs New York Detroit sewn in it. My daughter gave it to me. And her uncle, my brother who lives in Detroit, gave it to her. I got it last year and wore it once. While purging my closet this evening I'm trying to make a decision as to whether I should keep, sell or give away the coat. I just got on the net to see if I could get any info on the coat to help me make a decision. I have no Idea what kind of fur it is, or how much it's worth. It's medium brown, it looks vintage, has a silk or satin lining with embroidered flowers in the lining. Its kind of short length, hits just below the hips. If you get any info or find out where I can, please share. I'll will do likewise. Good Luck.
