A single ebony brow arches upward, cool gaze flicking dubiously among the angered catlings. She could nearly see the arched back and fluffed tail sprouting from their hides in imitation of their hotblooded namesakes.
"What advantage would it give us to take the offensive? They obviously think of all changelings as a threat. Our numbers are too small to risk enforcing that idea from the start. And by attacking the roads we would successfully be cutting ourselves off from all trade. There could be humans willing to side with us..if not directly, then at least willing to do buisness..and harbor us in tight situations. If we attack now, all chances of such an alliance will be nil. And, should I mention, the mage towers are very strategically placed.."
She pauses, glancing briefly at the rock covered hills beyond.
"Is there any word of the Orders postions in this dispute? If the mages are involved, I would rather take the defensive with the humans, and give them no reason to set their attention upon us..."
