-X- A deeply tanned young woman enters, ebony tresses falling around her shoulders in a disarray. A quiver is on her back, a short, recurved bow in her hand. Halting, she turns to the other young woman with her, the red, orange, and green beads in her hair clicking with the motions. -X- 'We'll use the one down there.' -X- She points to a target at the edge of the field, walking over. Then she turns to her student. -X- 'You haven't passed your archery training until you can do this.' -X- In seconds an arrow is fitted, the string pulled back to her ear, and then released. Her missle flies through the air, burrying itself in the exact center of the bullseye. She turns back to her student. -X- 'It took me months to master that, and unless are as good with a bow as you are with a sword, it will take you almost that long, too.'
