Western Road
The Western Road out of An'kor City heads directly towards the setting sun. The road is wide, and well used, though ruts are beginning to form from the mine carts that often travel the road. The farther west the road gets the steeper it becomes, plains becoming hills becoming mountains. The Gara'kah Mountains loom on the horizon, though they are a couple days' journey yet. Beside the road the trees grow thick, though the occasional swath of a meadow is cut, or a river might break the monotony of trees. At one such crossing a road branches off to wind beside the river, heading south-south-west. The battered sign, almost obscured by the encroaching shrubbery, proclaims this as Karatha Road, to the Mercenary Camp/Town of Dal'Karath. To the north of the road lies a vast field, home to the feral horses of An'kor. The choices are these: Take the Karatha Road to Dal'Karath; continue on the Western Road perhaps to the Gara'kah Mountains, go North to the Plains of An'kor, or return to An'kor City.

He didn't know for sure, but all he could do would be to continue to plod along, taking breaks occasionally... Moving on in a decidedly determined fashion...

Skipping off the road, the cat broke branches, bent grass, and caused footprints... Every so often. Her path through the grass was vague and sparse, she moving skillfully and seamlessly most of the time, or leaping from tree to tree until she felt more prints would be needed to keep the pursuer Guinevere would send on her heels as to test their tracking ability on trail, but no more. She was selectively careless... Making the task both easy and difficult at once, and progressing towards the Mountains...

Loosing it, she watched as it buried into him with cruel accuracy, and waited to watch him fall. His death - certain. A fiery Catling lopes onto the road, looking briefly at all those present. It was clear that the road was not in bad condition, but rather that it was well taken care of. She shrugs it off, then looks forward once more.
Jal carries on at her easy lope, intent on reaching her destination.

Smiling as she feels the small body go limp beneath her, she stands, cradling the child with both arms. Clucking to her mare, she eases the child into the saddle before climbing up behind her. Turning her mare around, she searches for her friends, they would have to keep her for three days before she would be theirs to sell.

*He travels with his caravan of 9 horses, they would soon become great partners to those who needed them. :: Raven-colored warhorse enters, bearing his golden haired rider. The rider is tall and fair, perhaps a northerner from the ancient lands. A lochaber axe is slung across his broad back, and other weapons are scattered throughout his person. Deciding Solan would probably be too mundane for the likes of he, he has decided on the Western Road in it's stead, perhaps to visit the Dwarven mines or the Merc camp he had heard was in the vicinity. ::
