Glifinial hugged him back and buried her face in his tunic, still shaking. Despite his words, a minute passed before she managed to stop the storm of crying, and she looked up, feeling drained. Her grey eyes held a mixture of aching loss and humiliation. "I�m really sorry," she said for the third time as she dried her eyes on her sleeve and pulled out of his arms. "I shouldn�t have lost it like that. And...I know tears won�t bring them back, don�t you think I�ve tried?" she asked hopelessly, the tears that were still so close to the surface threatening to spill over again. She took a deep breath and gave him a relatively steady smile. "Thanks a lot, Dalamar. I�ll be alright." She slipped her hand into his, grateful after all that he had followed her. "Though I�m usually the one begging you not to cry," she almost laughed, resting her head affectionately on his shoulder.
