City of Sylvanestri

The road bends before you, and you follow it. Rounding the corner you are faced with an incredible sight: A beautiful city, crafted entirely from stone and the living trees themselves. A large waterfall is the apparent centerpiece of the city, and adjacent to that stands a magnificient structure composed of marble and rosy quartz. The city itself is in the trees, giant trees that, if a half dozen large men linked arms they could not encircle or span. The houses are carved from the living trees or built upon their limbs so that the entirety of each house is a living entity. Balconies and vine bridges span the distance between each of the giant trees, almost a series of catwalks in the treetops. Stone houses are scattered throughout the forest at the base of the trees and beside the waterfall and glistening lake, small, rock-lined paths connecting them. The entire city pulses with energy and life, and it is a peaceful place to be.
