Take the M3 then the M27 West signed to Bournemouth.
- At Junction 1 of the M27 DO NOT TAKE THE DIRECT ROUTE THROUGH LYNDHURST as the traffic through Lyndhurst can be awful. Remain on the M27, which becomes the A31.
- Once the M27 ends and you are on the A31, drive for about 6 miles and come off at the Picket Post junction (signposted Burley) - this takes you into the New Forest.
- Follow signs for Burley Street, then Burley, then Sway. Some of the signs to Sway are quite small.
- Drive straight through Sway village - you will pass both the railway station and The White Rose Inn on your right , you will eventually come to a set of crossroads.
- At the crossroads drive straight across into South Sway Lane. Our house (Flexford House) is about 3/4 miles on the LHS towards the bottom of the hill.
- As you drive down South Sway Lane you will pass Flexford Mill on the right about 200 yards before our house. If you drive past Flexford Lane on your right and Knights Bridge Stables on your left you have gone slightly too far - if you can see Flexford Lane on your right our house is behind your left shoulder.
