Looking about, her pale blue eyes shimmer with curiosity. Smiling curtly to those around her she walks out of the room, velvet skirts swishing about her legs. Sitting on a finely crafted bench near the door she places a cool hand on her forehead. Mind reeling, world spinning, she slides gently off the bench, her skirts puddling about her on the soft earth. Her breathing is delayed and comes in dragged. Her small hands tremble like a leaf in autumn. Sweat pours down her pale face, now ghostly white. Her eyes lay wide open, fally shut, yet now before they roll back into her head, the white only revieled. A gentle cool breeze blows yet stirs the woman not.
