The Qyne flings his chestnut locks out of his way, beginning a slow and steady jog along the trails. His chocolate colored Niyia lopes ahead, lifting on ear to listen attentively to the chirping of birds and the chitter of other small animals. He pauses for a moment, allowing his Bonded to catch up to him, before beginning his easy lope once more. ~ Can't catch me, Slerin! ~ Chocolat taunts, slowing down for a brief moment and then speeding up, taunting and teasing his Qyne before sprinting ahead. Slerin mock sighs, a little amused at his Bonded's childish behaviour.

Neither sees the twigs and rocks, or the sharp decrease in the trail.

For all his flexibility, Slerin still falls, and is still injured, his leg twisted at an unfortunate angle. Chocolat frantically searches the surrounding area and finds no one, they were ahead of the rest... Get Ysha. She'll know what to do - I hope. The Niyia nods, and sprints off towards the Silver Den - Ysha would be there, trying her hand with this litter.

Slerin hoped the woman who had once been his sister wouldn't kill him to badly.
