She slips away from the sleeping steed and walks down to the bubbling water she dips velvet muzzle to it and drinks deeply she raises her head water dripping down her sleek neck she flicks her ears forward and splashes chest deep into the clear water she dips her head under then swims back to the shore she climbs out dripping water and grazes on the lush grass that grows near the water
