Subject: *Snow Star...

*Snow Star pads in, her stomach satisfied with the tough turtle meat. She sits down and sniffs the air...*

Shikoka pads in and immediately smells Snow Star. She lowers her head and narrows her malicious eyes. She scans the area for her foe and spies her sitting on the otherside of the river. She goes to the river and gets a drink, then looks at Snow Star again. "Too coward to show up last time huh?"

*Snow Star narrows her eyes.* Not coward, but I had homely matters to attend.

"But you did not show. What could keep you from taking my home? I should be awarded with another piece of your land." Her lips curl back in a cynical grin.

*Snow Star growls softly* I had homely matters, and you're the one who took this place. I tried to negotiate with you, but you would not have it.

"It was you who would not negotiate."

But your offers gave me scarcely enough land to live on.

"You should have taken it."

Well I didn't.

"Shall we fight, then, for... let's say... White Sands?"

No.

"Then for your life... chose."

*Snow Star sighs* White Sands it is.

Shikoka leaps across the river in a single bound and starts circling Snow Star.

*Snow Star watches Shikoka and keeps her head facing Shikoka's.*

Shikoka growls and quickly switches paths and lunges for Snow's chest area. Her jaws eyeing the shoulder.

*Snow's quick reflexes aid her and she dodges the snap, she spins around and counter attacks, her teeth seizing hold of Shikoka's face. She growls and shakes her jaws vigorously.*

Koka stops struggling for a moment to think; whoever sheds the first drop of blood is the loser and wisking her head away would rip some skin off. Thinking no other way, as there really wasn't, she rips her away from Snow, ripping a piece of skin off, just below her eye. She growls angrily. "This isn't the last." She storms off to her pack.

*Snow Star's narrow eyes watch Koka travel away. She sighs with exhaustion, she'd not slept in two days, and heads back to her pack.*
