Since I have pretty much designated myself head graphics consultant (lol) for our webpage, please submit all pictures and design ideas to me. If we use them on our site, I will give proper credit to the creators. Right now, we are looking for ideas/submissions for:

backgrounds
icons
animated gifs (new, original gifs preferred)

Remember;

ORIGINAL PIECES OR UNCOPYRIGHTED MATERIALS ONLY!

Definitions and guidelines:

Original Pieces
---------------
Do not grab another clan's logo, background, or icons, remove their name or tag, and submit it for our use. Even with their permission. We want the site to be as original as possible (If you want to look like another clan, we recommend you join them and not us). I know it's tough to create a completely original piece, because most everyone swipes parts of other peoples' images. The idea is to use pieces in a way that is completely original. If you can create something completely from scratch, send it in!

UNCOPYRIGHTED MATERIALS

Yes, I realize that is is almost impossible to create a DBZ image without violating copyright laws of some sort. However, MY definition of copyrighted materials pertains to the use of graphics that fit the "Original Pieces" definition above for any other website. I consider an "Original Piece" from another website to be copyrighted material of the owner of that website or the person that placed that image on that website. Most websites specifically state that all content of that website is considered copyrighted material and may not be used without permission. Simply removing their website or organization name does NOT make it public domain.

If you have any other questions about what graphics are acceptable, feel free to email me. This will be the first and last you hear from me on this subject until we assemble an F.A.Q. of some sort.

If you have an interest in creating some animated gifs, there is a program called Gif Construction set that includes an animation wizard. It's free and easy to use. Basically, you make gifs in stop frame style and the wizard assembles them and compresses the gif into an animated gif file. The URL for download escapes me at the moment, but if you do a search, you'll find it.
