My wife is so good it's a little scary, with telephone in hand. She found us AmTrak Sleeper-car reservations, meals included, round-trip *most* of the way, for less $$$ than we'd have paid just for car-rental and fuel to drive the whole trip. Train-trip part was from Charleston WV to Seattle, where Enterprise picked us up. I had never ridden a train in the U.S. before, only in Europe.
We drove the rental the "long" way to Sequim where my folks live now. There was Wireless Internet at the Econo, and the manager (a very sweet, very professional young lady) gave me the username & password. But something wasn't right. My wireless-card and the motel's server hooked up, but my computer couldn't see the Internet. I got as far at the library, but no further.
Mostly we were visiting my Parents, and one weekend we drove to Vancouver to visit my sister who lives there. 5 years since last time--lot of catching-up to do, just with Family.

You'll have to help me out. I don't think I know that one. We visited in my sister's home. We went to The Old Wives Tale for Hungarian Mushroom Soup, then caught the tail end of the Alberta Street Fair; both things we try not to miss when visiting there. Would we have seen Zoltie in either place?
>When will you be back? Semper Fi Bud!
Semper Fi, right back, Veeckster! Can't say for sure when, but we don't intend to let it get to 5 years again. I hope to drive next time. If you check out:

(no "www" in that url on purpose)
--that's our Project Vehicle, in our yard. That group's Moderator chose our baby as the "cover-girl" for the group. That's what I hope to be driving--maybe. RKBA! Best regards.
