to that shindig it was already over. There will be no end to the demonizing of Palin (no True Woomin would "sell-out" to the VRWC, yada-yada-yada) but the contest was decided as soon as McCain suddenly got the nomination.

There are a few theories out there about WHY Republicans would nominate the Democratic Media's favorite thumb-in-the-eye of the GWB-demon. Hell, 4 years earlier enough of them thought McCain might join the John F. Kerry campaign McCain went on "hate-radio©" to say it wasn't going to happen. In 2006 Repubs took the beating they had begged-for in Congressional races by legislating as "Democrats-Lite." So I was a bit puzzled that they had learned nothing from that.

But either they didn't--or while Limbaugh was urging Repubs to change their registration & vote in the Dem's Primaries--Democrats were paying better attention & nominated McCain! Dammifino. But I *DO* know from watching the Debates--McCain did not want to win unless he could win without a fight. At the very least, he did not want to win if fighting was required.

Who wins the race to blame Barney Frank's Economy on whom--IMO it's too early to call. There is a religious movement to blame everything from 1845 to 2012 on GWB even if it happens on JUPITER, but I don't know that enough of us can stay that gullible for that long. Enough of us voted for a young unknown, trying to "prove" whatever that was supposed to prove we aren't--but the messiah has already got this AG showing us how little THAT proved.

So All I'm gonna say is read your Bible carefully (Romans, perhaps) and watch what DOES happen. I saw enough hate spewed against Sarah Palin I have to stop and think when the MSM mentions her name. I have to remind myself they didn't make up her name, too. I hope she realizes what they are waiting to do to her if she steps out of Alaska in 2012 (besides "bravely" firebombing her church). Only thing she might achieve in '12 is outing the "Party of Tolerance" if she's up for stepping into such a shitstorm.

But I'm a little too sure I'd be making it up if I offered you any more ideas about what happened or why it happened--or what will happen next. So far it puts me in mind of Romans Chapter 8. That has me a bit too concerned for the fate of our country to be riled at you if you have a lower opinion of Repubs than I do (and mine might surprise you). So, read your Bible & keep yourself well.
