 These little 6-wheeled critters started out as the prettiest things. Fewer than 13,000 were sold, '73 to '78, and over 2/3 of those are still doing it. But, did you ever see one that wasn't all cobbled-up with stuff on the roof? On a first-generation WinnebagoŽ (if ya loved those, no disrespect was meant) this doesn't grate on the senses. But on a GMC bullet it's painful to behold.

IANAE but if I had to guess, I'd say the industry got a message from that. The 'Mainstream' of folks who buy Class-'A' motor homes don't seem to appreciate the streamlining differences between a bullet and a brick. It would be my uneducated guess--that's why so many brand new Class-A's look more like bricks. RKBA! Regards, all.
