With regard to Yogananda's omniscience, which I never questioned during my years of discipleship, there was only one incident that I did not understand. How come he was "surprised" when he returned from India and Rajarsi and Gyanamata and company surprised him with the Encinitas hermitage which they secretly constructed while he was away. Wouldn't an omniscient/omnipresent Master have known??
