Can we please tone this down a little. I agree that newspapers do often get things wrong, and I am well aware of the conspiracy theories (though I do not personally believe them), but to say that "The MEDIA is a monopoly owned by leftist atheists satanic interests" is taking things too far. I would need to see very strong evidence of these "leftist atheists satanic interests" before I believed in them.
I had wondered if Mike Drake was involved with the "Bramble Farm" website at first, but there seems to be no reason to suppose that he is. Mike has raised some interesting points, which are backed up with some evidence, and we can discuss them respectfully here. There really is no need to invoke theories about media conspiracies, or comparisons with Joseph Goebells etc.
If people's faith is damaged by discussion of these fairly minor points then they probably did not have a very strong faith in the first place.
