Hi Waqidi,
1. DARK MATTER AND OTHER MATTERS
Again, dark matter and rates of expansion are red herrrings (or are they dark herrings?). The issue is very simple: If our solar system were orbiting around a completely invisible stellar companion with a 24K year period, we would see obvious, predictable perturbations in the orbits of both (1) the sun's motion relative to the stars and (2) the planets in our own solar system. We see no such perturbations; ergo, there is no companion star.
2. BURBANK, SLIGHT RETURN
Burbank stated unequivocally that he did not believe in reincarnation. Once again, his testimonial letter does not speak to this point.
3. MY "NONMICROSCOPIC"* POINT "IN A NUTSHELL"
Yogananda's batting average for speculations about the material world is as far as I can tell .000. Which makes it rather difficult to say argue that his speculations about the immaterial are wildly more successful. (Interior spiritual experience is as real as any other type of experience, but it is hard to argue for it as a reliable guide to truth.)
