I am willing to speculate a bit, since the question of understanding the experience of all who attain higher states is very important. What one experiences in higher states of consciousness achieved by meditation and concentration is in a domain of concrete experience for which our natural everyday languages simply have not developed understandable expressions. Language, after all, is based on communicating using terms referring to the common experiences of many. Those we are referring to are the uncommon experiences of a few. The few may have an easier time communicating with one another because at least they are referring to shared common experiences.
In one contemporary view, mathematical languages and languages of science describe the properties of relations between idealized objects of any sort. Perhaps in the future those of a more advanced scientific and mathematical sophistication who have these experiences will be able to describe such experiences in scientific and mathematical terms, understandable to others with the same sophistication, but probably not understandable accurately to the common man. The sciences are like that already. The common man has only a dim idea of what experiments and results in quantum mechanics, cosmosology, molecular biology, solid state physics, etc., are about. It takes long study to remedy this. The use of a crude language intended for unsubtle uses for a hard to explain subtle use leads the common man to a surface understanding and many misunderstandings.
