Most people have a hard time accepting what is unfamiliar to them ... cognitive dissonance sets in. That is why Max Planck said that new ideas do not succeed because their proponents have convinced the opposition, but rather because the opposition has died and a new generation has grown up that is now familiar with the concept.
None of us have any real sense of the extent of the wonders that God has created. Each of us has a point where our minds get blown as they are exposed to more wondrous things, but our inability to understand them should not be allowed to get in the way of what we can understand. Accept what you can, use it to improve your life ... the rest will be shown to you when you are ready. AS far as UFOs in particular, there is a lot of pressure on government people to reveal what they know and the contact they have had. Some are starting to crack and that is all starting to come out now. If the concept blows your mind, don't worry about, nor condemn others who understand it ... you'll get used to it and eventually accept its reality.
But as far as Norman Paulsen, helping people save themselves and our planet is a far greater concern of his than worrying about whether or not people are aware of UFOs in general. He wishes everyone could become aware of the greatest UFO of all ... that one that is more brilliant than the physical sun and transcends all dimensions of consciousness ... that is what is most important.
