You seem to have decided that Haplo is Joe Belton. Perhaps he is not.
The fact remains that your time would better be spent seeking the answers from God and focusing solely on your spiritual growth than being distracted by useless speculation. I think narrow mindedness is indeed reflected in such a deliberate lowering of your vision from God alone.
Even Jesus compared those who get involved in situations not conducive to their evolution as being akin to dogs who catch a whiff of something in the air and make it their business to investigate.
