I am/was a kriya practitioner, but found them exceedingly boring nevertheless, except his biographical sections on Yogananda, Yukteswar and their associates.

One of Satyeswar's books I have is a translation of Lahiri Mahasaya's commentary of Mahabharata, but I cannot say anything about it as I didn't read a page of it as yet.

One of Kashi's associates/translators found Satyeswar's translations so bad that purportedly he threw his books away, but I cannot know whether these people's new translations are in any way better.
