I understood (more or less) what you meant; it's just that the deep conviction one might derive from meditative experience - a resonate conviction about some perceived cosmic truth - may be unreliable and untrue. E.g., a Hindu meditates and takes it as an experience of God; a Buddhist has the same qualitative experience but holds that there is no God. Without further discussion - without further consideration of other facts drawn from other domains - the conviction drawn from that experience is unsupported. (Minds experience; but they also deliberate. The one does not preclude the other.)
