Can you direct me to the source of that quote by Anandamoy.
I was at the Convocation where he made that statement (or one
similar), and I thought it went, "I wouldn't have to answer so many
questions, if you would just read SRF publications, especially the Lessons."

I didn't think he was trying to get people to stop reading other stuff, but
was suggesting that if you want to understand the teachings, you have to read the
Master's writings. I stand to be corrected.

I do think it makes sense to suggest that if you wish to become a spiritual "expert" in
understanding and practicing Yogananda's teachings, that you avoid
reading lot's of other spiritual books and then becoming confused about what's what.
