Faqir Chand, who was a Sant Mat Guru, said that he had experienced ALL of the stages of Sant Mat (the higher regions) and although they gave him much bliss and great experiences, peace eluded him. It was not untill he realized that it was HE that saw light and HE that heard sound that he began to understand that all these regions had to offer were just more experiences, but not the truth.
