The Radha Soami system today as evoved from Soami Ji Maharaj of Agra is one of the most confusing lineages in modern times. There are many, many different branches of RS each claiming to be the authentic offshoot of Soami Ji. It makes one think that if it is such a great system of yoga, then why has it degenerated into so many factions in such a short time. It sounds great on paper but in real life it becomes a boondoggle of Guru worship and superstition requiring blind belief that your Guru is God in human form, of which there is usually only one at a time. They claim the highest of reality and all other yogas are at best halfway attainments.
The vast majority of initiates in this system live in the hope that their Godman will rescue them at the time of death, and that they will spend eternity in some subdivision of reality. It is a very easy step from traditional christianity.
Kriya has held together a bit better over the same time frame, but still has its share of "my form is better than your form of kriya" groups spouting their alledged superiority, to innocents seeking some type of answer.
