Yogananda performed a very public marriage of Sri Nerode and Agnes Spencer in January 1931, reported by Fox Movietone New, on the lawn of the mothercenter, and said in the contemporary LA papers (of which I have the cuttings) that he had approved the marriage in advance. I will supply the pictures of the wedding and jpegs of the cuttings to anyone who wants them. So much for his so-called "laws and rules" announced in 1940 for the press on being sued.
