"Deriding" folks' beliefs? Please show me.
"Feign offense"? Please show me.
"Demand" a retraction? Once again, please show me.
Instead of issuing further fictional allegations, maybe you should have dealt with the argument: Defining 'prejudice' as merely preconceived belief leaves your statement trivial. (E.g., by that definition, I have a "prejudice" against the notion that the moon is made of green cheese.) But then all the other definitions that you yourself cite comport with what I claimed was the "normal" usage.* Since I take it that you did not mean to make a trivial observation, the only reasonable conclusion (as far as I can tell) is that you meant just what I said you meant.
But hey, Ketch - if you'd prefer to stand by your remarks, God bless you. It's your board, big fella.

* I.e., they contain such language as "irrational", "hostility", "without knowledge/examination". The problem with this isn't that such a characterization is offensive - the problem is that it's wrong.
