This is true of SRF as well. Kriya Yoga can also have very negative consequences and damage a person for the rest of his life like this person's account in the article whose link you posted, and even worse. I've known people who have lost their mind from Kriya practice, become suicidal, and had all other kinds of horrific effects. They are basically shut out both by SRF as well as the cultish SRF followers. It's really quite sad. Most people have no idea about this ugly side of Kriya. It's kept very hush hush, like everything else in SRF and the other Kriya circles.
