I remember reading "The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna" and recalling many stories and parables from Yognanada's teachings, verbatim. As you may already know, Mahendranath Gupta ("M"), one of Yogananda's first teachers, was also the author of "The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna. This of course does not diminish the greatness of Yogananda as a Yogi. But blind faith can be very dangerous. I see Yogananda's message as a one that can only be justified by personal experience.
