Buck had been foraging when he sees a streak of green go screaming past, followed by pursuers. He gives a small shrill of delight at the idea of a flight. It was a good way to stretch his wings and have some fun, even if he didn't know the green. Shrilling joyfully with the chase, he heaves into the air with a wingburst that sends him coasting after the little female, zooming nimbly around trees that get in his way.

The little brown was fairly used to carrying loads and going fast, he being the main go-to flit of a busy Weyrwoman with much urgent business, so pushing himself along at a fast pace is a vacation indeed. With a joyful trill for the green that shows he's in fine fighting shape and up for a good chase, he levels out and waits for her tricks, bracing himself for the chittering chastisement she might send down to him.
