Subject: I totally disagree it’s the girl who shines on stage, frankly I was upset when your 2005/2006 was dethroned and I felt it had to do with skin tone from your director or maybe something else. I thought the dethroned queen would have went further in the competition. This fair skin, dark skin issue should be discussion of the past but I see it still haunts our communities. My mother is from the Islands and I was told to have children by (you all know the drill) of course I married who I loved not because of his skin tone or hair! Do you really think the African countries worry about such matters?

Listen Mr Who ever you are, Cheryl;s dethronement had nothing to do with colour as a matter of fact this year a girl even darker than her represented us at Miss Universe. So please stop the colour prejudice talk. It shows what kind of mind you have not the mind of our national director. Stop that small minded talk, this is Trinidad and TObago we pride ourselves in sendin different looking women every year.
