... I could be wrong. Anyone knows if her competition gown is the one Meling designed with all the flowers? (I think they were flowers)-saw it on the front cover of the Express about a week ago.

if it is her gown or not. I need to see a better picture of it. I remember it but the picture wasnt to revealing in reagrds to showing the whole gown. But, whatever it is I am sure it would be great

Just 2 little observations:
1. From what I am seeing, it seems PE&A's are finally giving the financial and fashion powerhouse JAPAN an answer using mostly local/Caribbean designers and he is making Anya's presence felt-OH GORM ALL YUH, AH KNOW THE GIRL WORKING IT TOO-SHE LOOKS SO CONFIDENT BUT COMFORTABLE IN HER PICS.
2. Is it just me or has Ines taken a page from MT&TU2006-the pony tail and makeup remind me of Kenisha (and I even think MJ got implants-probably small saline implants that can be easily removed). Japan will do very well in the EG competition but I want to see how she looks in SS. For now, I think she is in the top 15.
Additionally, so far Anya looks like the strongest Asian competitor. I know some people are saying she can't win but let's be realistic. Very infrequently do we ever know who is going to win but we can generally tell who looks like top 10/5 material, and once a lady makes it to that level she is in contention for the crown. That being said, I really strongly believe that Anya will be top 5 and I could see her realistically in the top 2 but remember all the judges bring their own personal biases to the judging panel so pray for our girl.

that Japan's style reminded me of Kenisha. Anya is going to do great she has the prayers of a lot of people. I think the list that global beauties has right now is not going to change that much. Especially in regards to the top 10 girls. Now, I am excited about the pre-lims and seeing Anya in her gown and SS performing.

For me just watching without any bias or anything Japan is my fav right now.... As you said when someone gets in the top 15, then its all up to how well they work it on that particular night. I don't really see any similarities between Japan and Kenisha. I mean right now she is rocking the ponytail but she has so many different looks. But I think they (japan and anya) have similar facial structure
But i think Anya is very strong. SHe should be in the top 15.

I can actually say the same about anya because her ummm tobagos did not look like that at miss tnt. But at the end of the day its the womans choice. if she has the resources and wants to do it, then go for it

First you said in your first post that Miss Japan reminded you of MT&T06 then in your second post you said that you dont see anything that reminded you of Kenisha...Smile I think the ponytail is very reminiscent of kenisha. Byt the way I really like how Anya is looking in the pictures

well if she pulls her hair in a ponytail yes, she can look like an asian wendy or kenisha but to be honest thats just it-because of the ponytail. with her regular hairdo there are no similarities. I dont think japan and anya look alike but there have similar facial structure
