...Venezuela is going to be top 5 because she deserves it. MPR on the other hand -I just don't see top 5 but with latin judges for the final we all know what happens. PR will definitely be top 15 as I think Trump will actually vote her in this time considering PR will be the 2009 host. Additionally, it is only 14 places to fill-Trump will always pic MUSA because it boosts ratings in the US. I don't like PR-she looks dated and from MW05, Jenna looked much better than her in SS and gown but as we all know T&T will never win internet votes on merit.

1. Venezuela
2. Russia
3. Ukraine
4. DR
5. T&T
6. France
7. Turks and Caicos
8. Czech Republic
I can't see Columbia or South Africa in the top 15...still don't know what the hype is about and PR is already in the top 15 but it would be ridiculous if she makes top 5 as she looks very dated. I personally would not miss her from the top 15 but that will probably never happen.
For Anya, I hope she pulls a top 5 but I don't expect to see her out of the top 10. I hope Peter brings his "A" game. Gabrielle for now should be hitting the gym like crazy because her body was certainly not in top pageant form at the MT&T finals and her broad shoulders then to make her look shorter and thicker. Additionally, I hope both Makeda and June are being trained as stand ins. I hope to see the MW and MU crowns return to T&T within the next 2-3 years.

I have to strongly disagree with you on this one Trini77. I am shocked a bit to see that you dont have much confidence in Anya that she can be in the top 5. I think you are spending way to much time on the Missoslogy forum or whatever the name is. Maybe you are begining to listen to much of the T&T hater.I remember you didnt have much confidence in Valene either of doing as well as she did at MW. But, I said that she would be in contention for the crown and she was!.
Sometimes I think you tend to waver in what you say and think. Anya in my opinion is one of the strngest delegates chosen so far. She may have the best body out of all that have been chosen already. And Anya has such a strong exotic face that seperates her from all those other girls.
On the Venezula issue. I think a top ten finish is fitting for her.only because of venezuela history at MU that I think she is favored so much.
Althoug PR may not deserve to make a top 5 finish I think she would.
Lets be realistic. You know Miss Turks is not going to make the cut.
Anyway, I think Anya is going to be in the top 5 and maybe even win. I have full confidence in her and peter and company.

Oh gorm PC, I eh put the girl down. I said there is no way she is going to be out of the top 10 in my mind. For me she could make top 5 and she would not look out of place in the top 3 but after Kenisha's performance I just have to say when it comes to the top 5 at MU-I am more reserved about saying how far a MT&T could go since the latina bias in the judging panel is going to filter through. Kenisha deserved a top 5 finish in 2006 but chubby USA made the cut while MParaguay wearing something that looked like sleepwear was 4th. For the last few years it was almost like every other year a latina was winning. That being said a top 3 finish from Anya would not surprise me but I am not going to say she will win (at least not yet). Kenisha did not make top 5 and she was just such a fantastic rep. We could send the right lady but the members of the judging panel will choose who they want. Additionally, I eh know what you talking about Valene-I think I was the first one on this forum who said she will probably be in contention for the crown when her official pics were released.
Just because I am not all out the gates saying "Anya will win" does not mean I am not 100% behind our rep. Let's wait and see how she looks when July comes around along with the other 70+ beauties. For now she is solidly in my top 10 and I actually have her in my personal top 5 since I saw the MT&T final-Missosology has nothing to do with it.
Anyways, it is always good to hear each other's views. Anya is going to be smokin' hot when MU comes around. She has one of the best bodies I have seen thus far and a top 5 in SS at MU is what I am expecting. I just hope Peter Elias and Associates get the gown right-Anya has a lot of sex appeal and I hope they choose a gown that really complements her look.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was begining to worry about you. I agree with you that Kenisha deserved a top 5 finish at MU06. She was indeed a very good rep. And one of the best of that night. She looked way better than some of them that made the top 5. I couldnt understand why she didnt make top 5. But, as you said the judges chose whom they want to win. I saw some recent pictures of Anya and without much make up and she looks really good. I know peter and comp. is training her well. I am sure the time Miss Universe comes around she would be fully prepared.
As I said she has one of the best bodies out of all the delegates choen so far. Its funny that you dont have Columbia in your top 15 prediction. I actuallly think she looks better alot of times than PR. I have her as one of my picks. I like the couple of pictures I have seen of miss turks so far but i want to see some more. I still dont think she would be in the top 15 though.
You didnt say what you thought about the Miss Venezuela and PR issue. The fact that they are being seen alot of times with Mr Trump and and being invited to these events before MU even starts.
I think Anya is going to bring it at MU and I think she can be top 5 and maybe win.
I am waiting to see some more of the delegates before I start making my list of favorites.
