Wow Valene looks great. It looks like Valene is keeping her hair pulled back but I totally expect come BeachBeauty competition time to see the hair loose as Valene looks fierce with her hair loose. I am just loving Valene's skin and the detail on Ada's blouse. These young ladies look fantastic (inspite of the obvious poor lighting). All the best to Valene.

...this is a difficult dress to wear and valene looks beautiful but I have seen her look much better....then I thought Peter has a strategy and he is prbably hoping Valene becomes build momentum as there is going to be a prelim judging panel...then I found these pics that just blew me away... Valene looks fantastic!!!!!!!

I am so relieved that Valene's pics are improving steadily. She is quietly building momentum. The last 2 MWs in my opinion were not outright favorites but well favored contestants. I was so disappointed with the pic in the gray dress-first the dress is very difficult to pull off (even though Valene looked good in it, she was nowhere close to her best) and the hair looked flat and lifeless. Well we are all human I guess-we can't look perfect all the time. In this pic Valene looks ten times better than the pic with the gray dress (yes Peter should burn that gray outfit). The hair looks great and I am expecting Valene's hair to pop come BB competition on Sunday. I hope everyone is praying for Valene. She really needs God's favor throughout this competition because as we have repeatedly seen, we could do everything right and not get any equitable return. God Bless MT&TW07 and PE&A!

When you vist Missosolgy's forum, you should visit the T&T section (choose "Trinidad and Tobago" from the pull down menu at the bottom right of the screen)-there is a tread there with all these pics of Valene.

The image in the gray dress really did not do her justice if she had her hair in a ponytail her overall appearance would have been more spectacular. The neckline of the dress was way too busy for her hair to be down. Well, you live and you learn. Im sure we will not see that mistake from her again.
I just read that Julia Morely is going to be on the panel of judges. Intersting, what do you think about that?

You and I had the opportunity to meet Valene when she was in Toronto. Valene is exceptionally beautiful. There is nothing wrong with the Grey Dress. It is an exceptional dress; it is just how one looks at it. Remember the old adage that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder is of course quite true. What we must remember is that what our eyes behold is not completely our idea of beauty but what we have been conditioned to accept as beautiful. This is also true of objective beauty. So for those of us who know Valene's beauty, even if she wears a garbage bag, she will always remain that beautiful, talented young lady we all know.
I agree with you that Valene needs prayers and so do all the contestants. Valene will hold up well brother, and she will surely reach to the top.

Ok, I agree Ms. Trinidad and Tobago is pretty. But I don't like people pretending...ok...just admit she is indo-trini and not that she is mixed with this and that. True the country is has a mixed heritage..but come on people she is West Indian, a decendant of indians from india. That said she is still beautiful..my point is don't try to make her into something she isn't.. she is a queen and also of indian decent (So be proud) And no she isn't mixed with black...jeez...her name is Maharaj! INDIAN NAME....BE Proud and Loud.. Go T&T. And for your info I'm indian and black.
