Hi Trini77, thanks for your continous advice and the important information you continue to give to us. I had visited the missosology forum and I did see the racial slurs being spewed. I did not know people still use the "C" word. Although, considering the source it has no impact at all. I am thankful that Trinidad and Tobago is "A melting pot of different cultures". I shun any individual who uses any type of racist ramarks. I was surpised to see that alot of people didnt even know that Trinidad and Tobago has so many other races. I believe people of Indian and African decent are almost of the same percentage in regards to population. I think it has to do with the fact that alot of the other english speaking caribbean are mostly black( African Decent) and or most of the reps. that T&T has sent in the past were black( African Decent. I am glad to see that the world is starting to see T&T as the multi cultural paradise it is and strive hard to be. No matter which individual represents T&T internationally, they are representing the whole of T&T. AI will reiterate what Trini77 said to everyone. Just ignore the nonsensical, frivolous and trifling comments being made by these folks. It shows that some people still have a very long way to go in the acceptance of people who are different than they are. So just let them go on with their illogical and inconsequential ramblings and conduct.
hey Trini77, I would really like to see that girl who was second runner up represent T&T at Miss Universe. what do you think?. But, I am also waiting to see the other girls as well. Maybe we are in for a surprise. Whoever is sent I am sure she is going to be a stunner and a favorite at Miss Universe.

To be quite honest, I would totally disagree with the 2nd runner up of MT&TW07 (Katrina) being sent to MU08. She looks like a possible top 5 at MW. MU looks for more curvaceous young ladies although I am pretty sure that with proper preparation she could crack the MU08 semifinals. It is just that she looks like a better fit for MW.
Oh my gosh, I looked at a couple of Videos with Valene and she sounds so sweet and looks-wise she reminds me of the Miss India's of the 1990's-she is just so beautiful on camera.
Anyways, Katrina could definitely crack the top 5 of MW in my opinion provided she gets those thighs down.
It is going to be interesting to see if more women of east indian descent turn up for the screenings for MT&TU08 (assuming Valene will not represent us that is). Keisha Quash will definitely be in the line up but I know we can do much better. I wonder though, will the next MU walk though the door when Peter, Adrian and Alyson decide to hold the screening?
