October 1968-October 1969, I was stationed at Phu Loi with the 128th Assault Helicopter Company (Tomahawks and Gunslingers) of the 1st Aviation Brigade, 11th Combat Aviation BN. I performed preventative maintenance on the helicopters.

Our company was located in the corner of the base in the area where the main gate was (unless there was another gate). From some of my reading, Phu Loi was probably alot different in 1967 then it was in 1969. I think the PX was located directly across the flight line from our company. Where was the Big Red One located?

The following link was found on THE 128TH ASSAULT HELICOPTER COMPANY web site.
