I am looking for friends of Richard J Bashara. He was in 101st Airborne, 52?, paratroopers. He was wounded in June or July, 1970 and was sent to the 249th Gen Hospital outside of Tokyo. He is in desperate need of medical attention and his records were all lost in the fire of 73 im St Louis. Does anyone remember him? He received 2 purple hearts, a silver star and a bronze star. Please help me get his records so he can get medical help. I have the National Pers Records Center working on it but nothing yet. It will get cold here in the next few months and he is sleeping outside. Thankyou, Betty Brown
