Even thinking about how you led your troops scares me. How did you feel with this responsibility of holding the lives of the other soldiers? While on patrol, you were injured. How did you feel while you were in pain? I would have probably thought that my life was over, but you stayed strong and stayed alive. What was your first reaction when you saw the worm? I would also have been confused just like you when I first looked at these threads. Were you scared about the worm? I surely would have been. Did the worm get your attention too? Did you feel like you wanted to help the child, even though you can’t do anything about it? I think you are very courageous and I admire you.
